Conflict Resolution Partnership
Objectives
achieve coordinated responses to particular conflicts
in the region through conflict resolution partnership seminars, a partnership
project, the setting of unit standards for conflict resolution training
and the coordination of conflict resolution services in the Cape Metropole.
Staff from QPC, UMAC (U Managing Conflict) and the Centre
for Conflict Resolution (CCR) participated in a strategic planning workshop
to coordinate conflict resolution services in the Cape Metropole. A
seminar on Conflict and Access to Land: Strategies for Intervention
took place with 60 participants during May.
Seventy conflict resolution practitioners participated in
another seminar on HIV/Aids entitled Stigma, Secrecy and Gossip - Conflict
Transformation: Practitioners facing HIV/Aids which was hosted by CCR.
